I will be having surgery and will need to put my shop on vacation. I will stop taking orders on May 14, 2026 and I am hoping to open back up in 2 to 4 weeks. I'm trying to get some new dye work before surgery and then I can get them finished and listed as I finish recovering.
I hand-dyed this yarn in shades of pinks, rose, burgundy, maroon, and peach. This yarn is first wound into a large skein, dyed, rinsed many times, and then dried. I then rewind the large skein into smaller skeins, which are what are available here. With the way that I do my dyeing the colors change randomly thru out the skein, any striping or color pooling would be completely random and would not occur often. There should not be any noticeable difference between ending and beginning of skeins. I do my dyeing in small batches and what is available here is all that I dyed in this color way. Color #DY
This yarn is rayon boucle. This yarn has approximately 2250 yards per pound and 24 wraps per inch. Each skein is 350 yards and weighs 2 1/4 ounces. This yarn seems to be about a lace weight in yarn size.
Hand wash cool with mild detergent, then dry flat or hang to dry. I use color fast dyes and rinse many times, but as with anything dyed, there could still be some excess dye. I recommend using a color catcher as needed.
