DetailsThis hand-dyed yarn is an 8/2 cotton and rayon. The colors are plum, red violet, purple, sky blue, and deep sky blue. The cotton rayon blend of this yarn gives it some texture and hints of shimmer.
Each skein is 400 yards and weighs approximately 2.4 ounces. I also have some 20 yard mini-skeins of this yarn. This is a fingering weight yarn that wraps at 24 wraps per inch.
I use color-fast dyes and wash and rinse many times. Since there could still be a small amount of dye remaining, especially with dark or bright colors, I recommend using a color catcher as needed. Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent.
