I will be having surgery and will need to put my shop on vacation. I will stop taking orders on May 14, 2026 and I am hoping to open back up in 2 to 4 weeks. I'm trying to get some new dye work before surgery and then I can get them finished and listed as I finish recovering.
This scarf was handwoven by me. I used one of my hand-dyed warps to weave this. The colors are brown, yellow, beige, peach, and orange. With the way that I dye my warps, the colors change and flow into each other in random ways. I have tried to describe the main colors, but there may be bits of other colors as the colors blend. The colors will also sometimes change will the angle and/or light.
The fiber for this scarf is Tencel. It is soft and light-weight and drapes wonderfully. Depending on the light, there may be some shimmering.
This scarf measures approximately 9" wide and 52" long, plus 1 1/2" of fringe. The fringe was hand hemstitched while on the loom. This size scarf will also make a nice table runner.
Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Roll in a towel to remove excess water, do not wring. Dry flat or hang to dry. Steam or cool iron as needed.
